last Friday night

This past Friday night Chad and I went over to our friend's, Chris and Alyssa Smeda's apartment for some dinner, we had hamburgers and fries and played a few games. I brought over dessert. I got the recipe (yes off pinterest haha) and its really good. Oreo cookies and cream cheesecake cupcakes. So good! Definitely a keeper :) and its super easy to make too, and cheap. I suggest them to everyone! After our dinner and dessert we played one of our new favorite fun games that Chris and Alyssa introduced us to, Wits and Wagers. Its a trivia game where basically no one would know the answers to any of the questions, thats what makes it so fun, and then you bet on each other's answers. I won 2 out of the 3 rounds btw. haha. We played a couple other games as well. Thanks to the Smedas again for a fun night!

         

its going to be a looonng semester...

So the first day back at school was on Wednesday, and I pretty much have like all my classes on this day. I was so worn out even like half way thru the day. Now that we have had three days of school, I am exhausted. I am taking 8 classes, two of which are dance classes and then on top of that I am teaching a dance class. Also one of my classes is a practicum where I have to go to the schools for a couple hours and help and do whatever they have me do pretty much. At least for right now I don't have that class until the second half of the semester. But I can already tell, my schedule is packed for the whole day and I am TIRED!! haha. Its going to be a good semester cuz then after this one only a few more classes left next semester and I graduate and then I am out of here! But for now...im gonna pretty much die by the end. Or maybe I'll get used to it ;) haha

Christmas Eve Chad's sister Rebekah had her baby, about a month early too. Another (the 4th) girl in the family. She is still in the hospital but is doing well and is so cute and is so small. They named her Aubrey Jean Camblin. Can't wait to see her! So Chad and I decided instead of taking all of our presents down to Logan to open them, we opened them after Chad got home from work that night and then around 10pm left for Logan. We woke up Christmas morning and went to church with Trish and Scott. Grandma Bonnie & Ralph and Dennis & Megan came over for Christmas Day dinner. So good!! After dinner we played a white elephant game and then Chad and I went to go check out Dennis and Megan's new apartment and Trish and Scott went down to Sandy to go see Bekah and the new baby. They brought back Halle and Ella with them to take care of while they are trying to take care of and visiting the baby. We had lots of fun with Halle and Ella for a few days. Then Tuesday night Chad and I had to go back up to Rexburg because he works in the morning. On our way we stopped by my family in Providence houses, my great grandpa and great uncles. Then we were back on the road. It was a lot of fun to get away from Idaho for a few days and to spend Christmas with family. I missed seeing my family this year, first Christmas not spent with them, but it was still very fun and good to see my husband's family and spend it with them! Too bad we didn't get to see Bekah and Lee, they were supposed to come up, but we are so happy for them and their new baby Aubrey! It was a great first Christmas for Chad and I to spend together to celebrate the birth of our Savior. We are so grateful for all that we have and the wonderful family we have :).  It is now New Years Eve and Chad has to work all day today as well...dont know when he'll be back but at least he'll for sure be home before midnight tonight to spend the new year with me haha. Not quite sure what I am going to do all day...

It is now the end of the semester. So glad for some of my classes to be done. I got pretty good grades in most of my classes. It was my first semester teaching clogging on campus and it was really fun and I learned a lot. I am also going to be teaching next semester which I am really excited for, and hope I got things figured out from last semester to help make things better for this coming semester. Now I am pretty much just at home every day during this break doing about whatever when Chad is at work. Chad has been working at Olive Garden almost every day this week.  We are excited for this Christmas weekend, tomorrow is Christmas Eve and Chad has to work all day tomorrow :( We are planning on waking up early Christmas morning to open each other's presents and celebrate a little first Christmas with just us, and then leave early in the morning down to Logan, UT to Trish and Scott's. We are excited to see family again! And we are going to be there till Tuesday. That will be a fun few days, and then Chad has to go back to work and I need to get back to studying for my huge teacher education exam... Well thats about it for now! :)
